Re: (rats) moo update-- male agression

I have heard, over and over, that people see the results of having their
rat neutered the very same DAY as the operation. The rat is calmer, sweeter
and much happier, from the instant he wakes up. It's really amazing! Of
course, it doesn't always happen that way, but it happens often enough.

I'm so glad for you and Moo. Yay! Cathy

moo has been neutered and is a new moo. he no longer is agressive or
moody. he has learned the pleasures of just snuggling and being petted but i
wonder if he has developed seperation anixety. if i leave for a night and hes
continiously at the bars looking around. he goes to the bars at every sound
according to my dad. when i come home and get him out he has to clean me
for an hour or more and if i interrupt he has to start all over again. they
did have to staple one side due to the fact that his ocd cleanilyness he
opened up one side twice. he has already had the staples removed. hes a great
lil buddy now and i was told it could take up to 6 months for the effect
to set in but he was like that that very day i brought him home. his vet
said he had huge testes so he was having alot of testosterone course through
him.

My Fizzy was a completely new rat once he'd lost his attachments! Not even an attempt to bite me after the op, but was still aggressive towards other rats. But...
