GingerPestNet is primarily for people in the Himalayas, in India, Nepal, Bhutan, who wish to obtain or provide advice and information on the pests and diseases of ginger. It is for research staff at government research stations, universities, schools or in the private sector. Above all, is for the farmers and farmers' representatives who need help in overcoming the pests that limit production. People in other parts of India, and other countries of the world, are welcome to join and to share experiences. The network is moderated by EHI, Eastern Himalayan Initiatives, an NGO based in Gangtok, Sikkim.
